BrandShare is a unique combination of software and service.

The software runs on our servers and you access it via the Internet. This means that :

  • Anyone who's got a PC and a web browser can access the system (as long as they've got a password!)
  • There is no up front capital outlay (you don't need to buy any hardware or install any software.)
  • It is incredibly quick to get started. You can be up and running in a matter of days if necessary

The BrandShare service is made up of the Librarian Service, Web Portal Service, and Proactive file management.

Librarian Service

Digital images, video, artwork etc ... are virtually impossible to index and categorise automatically. It needs a person to look at and manually categorise them.

To train and make available dedicated staff within your own organisation would be both expensive and complicated.

Our librarian service is staffed by people who know how to handle and manipulate digital files and who will understand your brand structure and therefore know how best to categorise your brand resources.

Web Portal Service

Once your digital assets have been processed by our librarian service they are instantly available via your BrandShare web portal.

Many people will use the web portal on a daily basis to locate and download brand assets. However, there will be others who may dip in to the system only occasionally. The portal has been designed to be completely intuitive and simple to use. You don’t need to read the manual or go on a training course to get the full benefits of the web portal.

You will have your own dedicated web portal branded with your logo. Access is controlled by username and password and you are able to restrict access so that some users may only see a subset of your files.

Finally, we look after all the reliability, security, capacity and disaster recovery issues, and we give you guarantees for the availability of your portal.

Proactive file management

As part of the BrandShare service we provide you with a few tools to help you manage what’s on your portal.

Firstly, there is a statistics report which shows you how many downloads have happened and who carried out the downloads. The report also shows you which brand assets have been downloaded most often.

Secondly, you can specify a list of people who will be emailed each month reminding them to submit any new material they have to the BrandShare librarian service.

Finally, files are given a review date. You will receive reports by email showing you which brand assets have reached their review date so you can confirm that they are still required.
